Building a website with clean, clear code and a website that contains rich, dynamic content accomplishes the majority of successful search engine optimization results for your site. Stephen offers this "basic SEO package" for free when he builds and designs a website for you. But, because search engine optimization for businesses is competitive, you may decide that more needs to be done to get your site up at the top search results. Don't be fooled by the spam emails from "companies" that claim to be able to get your site on the first page of Google. The reality is that getting your site on the first page of Google is very difficult to do and takes a lot of work, money and time. Although less enticing, I offer a more realistic, affordable guarantee for my clients.
Here is my "extensive SEO package" and guarantee:
The Extensive SEO Package
Initial Work
- Registering your site with Google, Yahoo & Bing (together, they dominate use at 96%)
- Submitting a site map with Google
- Cleaning up your websites internal code
- With the clients cooperation, cleaning up your websites content
- Linking you with 5 other relevant websites in your business or region
- Analyzing with SEO tools such as Google webmaster tools and Google Analytics
- Finding the most relevant keywords for your site with Google Keyword Tool
- Registering your business with online services like Google Places and Yelp
- Social Media: Together, we set up a Facebook and/or Twitter account (optional). You agree to do weekly entries at least (this does not include the video)
- Keep people on your site with a Blog*, video*, or useful free information
3 Months of continued work done on a weekly basis
- Partnered with you providing the content, we will insert new, weekly content on your home page or another relevant page
- Continuing to analyze SEO with tools such as Google webmaster tools and Google Analytics
- Monitoring your Search engine ranking with online tools
- Modifying and improving on your internal code throughout the 3 months
- Modifying and improving on your content throughout the 3 months
Our Agreement, My Rates & Guarantee
When the initial SEO package work is completed, I charge $200 sole proprietors, $400 small businesses and institutions. You must provide a section on your homepage that changes weekly. Over a 3 month period, on a weekly basis, I check your SEO progress in Google Webmaster Tools and make changes to further improve on your SEO. Together we choose the best 10 keywords/phrases for your business and make those keywords a priority in your site.
At 3 months, these are the results I guarantee:
Good SEO Results
- 4 of the 10 keywords/phrases searches appear within the top 40 results (4 pages for Google) in Google, there is no guarantee in the other search engines
- 1 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 20 (2 pages for Google)
- 0 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 10 (page 1 of Google)
- If I do not accomplish this, you only owe what you initially paid, $200/$400
- If I accomplish this, you owe an additional $200 (sole proprietor)/$400 (small business and institutions)
Very Good SEO Results
- 6 of the 10 keywords/phrases searches appear within the top 40 results (4 pages for Google) in at least 2 of the 3 search engines, Google must be included
- 3 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 20 (2 pages for Google)
- 1 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 10 (page 1 of Google)
- If I do not accomplish this, you only owe what you initially paid, $200/$400 or the cost for "Good SEO Results"
- If I accomplish this, you owe an additional $400 (sole proprietor)/$800 (small business and institutions)
Excellent SEO Results
- 8 of the 10 keywords/phrases searches appear within the top 40 results (4 pages for Google) in at least 2 of the 3 search engines, Google must be included
- 5 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 20 (2 pages for Google)
- 2 of the 10 keywords brings you to the top 10 (page 1 of Google)
- If I do not accomplish this, you only owe what you initially paid, $200/$400; or the cost for "Good SEO Results"; or the cost for "Very Good SEO Results".
- If I accomplish this, you owe an additional $600 (sole proprietor)/$1,000 (small business and institutions)
Conditions:
- Keywords and phrases used in the package must be specific to your business and region
- Keywords and phrases local monthly searches in Google must be under 100,000
- The second payment that applies is due at the 3 month period of analyzing the final results
*Building a blog, and setting up a You Tube account with a video is a separate cost
