Finding a common ground between the web designer and the client, regarding project cost, is one of the greatest challenges of any website project. There is this understandable assumption made by clients that websites are quick and easy to build because of all the templates and free services out there. The reality is, building a professional website is never quick and easy. Schildbach Design and other web designers do their best to bring you an affordable project, but there are many complexities and aspects to a web design project that the client doesn't see that increases the project's cost.
Just to name a few elements, when making an estimate, the web designer is also factoring in the many estimates they write up that are accepted and rejected, the free consultation time, the hours of emails and phone conversations, and so many other elements of the web design process. And, let's not forget the endless hours of troubleshooting the browser Internet Explorer (and it's many versions) while all other browsers look just fine.
When working by the project, Schildbach Design does not charge you for the previously mentioned unseen work. But, it is factored in when pricing all of the components to your site.
